    For sale is a working 1920s era EMPIRE TOY ELECTIVE STOVE & OVEN made by the Metal Ware Corporation, Two Rivers, Wisconsin. This 175 Watts toy oven has a cloth covered electric cord. The oven portion has a wooden knob. The oven measures 8 1/4 inches, by 8 inches, by 4 inches. This toy originally sold for .00 to .00, an expensive for that time period. This toy was the predecessor for the much safer Easy Bake Oven. The best thing about this collectible toy is just how unsafe and crazy the design is. The heating elements for is ill-advised electric stove still work. Use of this toy stove is not advised due to risk of electrical shock, fire, and burns. The stove is in overall great condition but is not original paint. A great collectible toy.
