1970 Kenners Vintage Easy Bake Oven With 4 metal pans - tested - works.
This is a rare vintage SUPER Easy Bake Oven made by Kenner c1970. According to a Penney's catalog from 1970, this oven sold for .88 while the original Easy Bake Oven sold for .88. This deluxe model, made in classic Harvest Gold, features a fold-down four-burner cooktop, an warming oven with adjustable temperature, a timer, and a large storage cabinet on the bottom. It would also cook in larger cake pans. Baking and warming oven windows light up when in use. Measures approximately 13.25 inches tall, 13.5 inches wide, and 8 inches deep. Apparently this oven was used very little, as it has its original Ken-Rad 100 watt heating light bulbs still working well, and is remarkably clean inside. There are a few wear issues. There is one rivet missing on one side at the bottom back. The moving parts are somewhat loose. There is some tape on the edges of the baking oven window and some wear to the "chrome" trim. I am not sure if the warming oven control functions, and the timer is very sluggish. Still, this is a wonderful vintage toy which shows beautifully, AND IT WORKS. Included are two small and one large cake pan and another round pan which may not be original to this oven.
