Japanese Sword/ Late WW2 Japanese Sword blade and Saya Scabbard

Description

Here is a Japanese military sword blade in leather combat covered Saya scabbard.  Blade is unsigned and has blood grooves on both sides.  Looks to be late war or occupied country manufacture.  Blade looks similar in shape to Japanese NCO Type 95.  Cutting edge length: 25.5".  Width at notch: 1 1/4".  Thickness of spine at notch: 1/4".  Overall Length of blade tip to bottom of tang: 32 5/8".  Great item for restoration project etc...
