This is a Japanese WWll Army NCO sword in mountings.   The blade is
shinogi-zukuri
shape with
bohi
engravigs, WWll time period made blade.
The blade is Kokura arsenal made with 55142 東 stamped, in war time original polish, shows fine scratches, light stains but no rust and in good condition.
There is no bend, no nick, no crack and cutting edge is sharp.    The scabbard is heavy metal scabbard with matching serial umber 55142 stamped, no dent, no bend and in good condition.     The handle is tight fit,
no cut, no dent also in good condition.
Lock mechanism works fie.    It measures 27+1/2" tip to the guard, 26+1/2" cutting edge, 1+1/8" width, 6 mm thickness at the notch and 38" in mountings.       Shipping is priority in U.S.   No international shipping.  Payment dues within 3 days auction end.
