ORIGINAL WORLD II LAST DITCH TYPE 30 JAPANESE ARISAKA BAYONET & SCABBARD. This item hasn't been cleaned. This came from my grandfather stuff. He would tell me stories when I was a kid that this bayonet was used in battle. He said the enemy would mark their bayonets with each kill. I have no way of proving his story and I'm 50 years old now. This bayonet would clean up nicely. I think its in great condition for its age. The scabbard is made out of some kind of wood? There are cracks in the scabbard that run longways but doesn't really affect it. I received a ton of stuff from my grandfather and I've let it sit in storage for years now. I've recently started going through some of it so keep checking back for other things I list. Let me know if you have any questions or need a closer picture of the something?
