    Type 30 Japanese WWII Rifle Bayonet
    Mid war production - all early features except for the straight cross guard
    Toyoda Loom Works - under contract by the Nagoya Arsenal
    This has all the features of an early-war manufactured bayonet - blued blade, metal scabbard, full fullers on blade , 'bird head' pommel; early screw grip fasteners on the contoured wooden grips,
    but with a straight
    style crossguard
    Designed for the type 99 arisaka rifle ,... but also issued & used for the type 38 too

    scarce
    variation of a type 30 bayonet ,--
    and one of the KEY bayonets of any collection
    decent over all condition ,
    the blued blade shows signs of very little use - typical wear ,.. but no post war sharpening or grinding marks
    the wooden grips have a few minor dents & dings , but were never sanded down or messed with --
