    Description

    For sale is a vintage Japanese officer's sword with scabbard and portepee. Scabbard has two dents in it and heavy corrosion near the suspensions. Back of top suspension is engraved H.W.L. Blade has overall light wear.
    Unmarked blade, light overall wear. Blade length: 31" Overall length: 35.75"
    The brass handguard is ornate. Wire wrap on the pommel is intact. Portepee is in excellent condition for its age. Sword is loose in the  scabbard.
